My name is Jamie Lee McLanahan. I’ve taken photos since I was a teenager, but Wen Lee Photography didn’t exist until 2015 when people began falling in love with the photos I took of. my daughter, Wendy Lee McLanahan. Covid hitting in 2020 & Wendy’s health severely declining 2 years later caused a long hiatus for this business that I absolutely love. Almost a year ago, I picked my camera back up & slowly began rebuilding my business. This past December, I decided to truly invest in myself & buy some new equipment & build an indoor studio that’s still in the works. Since then, I finally feel like I am finding myself again as a photographer. I’m learning how to get the most out of the location, my camera & especially my editing; taking classes whenever I have free time. And I feel like I finally have my own personal aesthetic. I’m no longer the 25 year old girl trying to replicate fads in editing; I’m a 36 year old woman who shoots & edits according to my personal style.
